Not as popular as years past, but I always love being able to create this art when given the time. If you only give me 5 minutes then it’s not going to be this. But when I get the opportunity, I love having the time for intention and creativity. 🍃💍

Yesterday I had the privilege of photographing Natilee marrying into our family yesterday, as she said I do to Kristian. She’s a ray of sunshine, and I love all the joy that she brings with her.

It was rare for me to be able to see a wedding on such an intimate level because I normally do not photograph for family, and I had to desperately stop myself from crying multiple times all day, but I’m excited to get to know her throughout the years to come (: glad they found one another.

The shock I felt to pick up my phone to find this beautiful surprise the minute I turned 34 today, words can’t describe how loved and seen I feel by each one of you. How amazing is Lydia that she thought to put this together. AND that nobody ruined the surprise ! I seriously don’t have words to express how much this means to me. Especially this year. Means the world. Thank you everyone for the warm thoughts. 🫶 love you all !

Goodbye to the last day of 33 today🧡 bittersweet feelings. I’ve checked off an insane amount of milestones in the year of 33, but also cried a lot of days, so I’m excited, ready and optimistic for my new era.

🌋My solo adventure to the top of Mount Etna Volcano in Italy, I know very much over due. My camera and myself have now experienced 3 active volcanos in our life time. A rewarding, beautiful yet humbling day.

The day I lost my favorite person is coming up. And I wish I could say things feel less fresh but they don’t. Recently was shown this beautiful photo of her on her wedding day and I wanted to share because wow she is iconic. I re-read the last birthday card from her this week and she talked about proud and in awe she was of me seeing the world from the sky flying back and forth in my adventures “you got guts kid” and so on crappy days I tell myself I have no choice but do amazing things for her. I also feel like there’s a lot about a wedding day I approach completely differently now. It’s a privilege to have certain people at your day, and I really try to show more moments of THEM, them looking at the bride going down the aisle not just the groom, their faces during a toast.. I also feel much more deeply for my brides who don’t have their favorite people anymore at their day and being an advocate for them when needed.

But this is me saying it’s okay if some days arnt highlight reels cause life isn’t always going to be. 🍃

New goal 🔜 find a man who puts the amount of effort into trying to taking a photo of me for my own memory that a stranger I met on the street did for me.

I walked up to these girls (a family) taking turns taking photos of each other and I offered to take a group one of them so that they could all be in the moment together, to be kind, and it ended with one of the girls giving me my own moment as well. 🐟

In my new Era. And it feels good. To my clients ⬇️ We are buckling in for wedding peak season. This up coming week will be my only non wedding week until mid November & we got a lot of double headers this fall. Some even triple headers (i know I know)

A note to all my wonderful clients as we are now into the busiest part of my season; emails are slower this time of year as I’m shooting & editing all the time. If you text me on the weekends I’m not ignoring you I’m just not on my phone when I’m with my clients & you’ll most likely hear back from me in weekday office hours unless it’s a bridal emergency. Email is best. 💍
