I’ve never fallen out of love with weddings.

I’ve always been drawn to weddings—the energy, the emotion, the way a day can feel both beautifully chaotic and deeply meaningful all at once. I started photographing weddings at 17, and over the years that instinct has grown into a thoughtful, refined approach to capturing celebrations in a way that feels both elevated and true to you.

For me, it’s never just about how your wedding looked—it’s about how it felt. The laughter, the movement, the quiet moments you didn’t even realize were happening. I want you to see yourself in your photos and feel confident, present, and completely like you.

I photograph weddings in Columbus and Palm Springs, with Oahu as a growing market, and I travel often for destination celebrations. I’m especially drawn to natural environments—places where light, texture, and landscape add something honest and effortless to the story.

Photography has always been part of my life. I grew up around film cameras, later studied photography in depth at BGSU, and built my career with a strong foundation in both the technical and creative sides of the craft.

Every image I deliver is carefully hand-edited—no presets, no shortcuts. Just a consistent, intentional process that ensures your photos feel natural, cohesive, and lasting.

My approach is a balance of guidance and intuition. With a background in photojournalism, I document what unfolds organically, while stepping in when needed to create imagery that feels elevated without ever feeling forced. The result is a blend of real, unscripted moments and refined, editorial portraits.

I take on a limited number of weddings each year so I can give each couple a truly personalized experience. I also believe connection matters—you deserve to feel comfortable, understood, and genuinely excited about who you’re working with.

A Midwest native with a love for movement, sunshine, and a well-planned trip. When I’m not photographing weddings, I’m usually somewhere between editing a gallery, booking my next flight, or spending time at my studio, Zurie—a creative space I own for photographers to create, connect, and feel inspired.

I’m drawn to experiences—whether that’s a week on the ocean, a solo travel reset, or a full day spent chasing the kind of joy that makes time disappear in my strawberry garden.. listening to Harry Styles. I’ve always believed the best moments are the ones you fully feel while you’re in them… which is probably why I connect so deeply with weddings.

My days tend to be a balance of creativity and energy—equal parts time behind the camera, movement, and finding small ways to stay inspired.

At the center of it all are the people I get to photograph. The connection, the trust, the shared excitement—it’s the part of this work that never gets old.
