Photographers are some of the most un photographed people in the world… unless we do it ourselves 🍃

I have photographed the majority of my weddings solo over the last 15 years, but when I do bring my second photographer, nothing but the best for my couples. It’s gaining two perspectives of your day because everyone sees the world differently even if it’s just a matter of where we are standing 🍃 if you want a second photographer added on to the day my beautiful second, Kelley, has a few openings for fall and I’d love to bring her along to capture those in between moments.

I will still hand edit every photo 🫶 for a blended look for your wedding day.

@theknot recently came out with their annual couples real wedding report. 🍃these are based on the data they rolled in from the 2024 wedding season. The national average cost is lower than I see a lot of my couples experiencing, but it’s great to share because most people do not understand the actual cost of holding a wedding 🌿

It’s the biggest compliment.. A random Tuesday in Coachella Valley, filming my own promo videos and photos because honestly I find it to be ridiculously fun, and prefer to do them myself. What you don’t see is this a super popular hiking spot, and a lot of people are going by as I giggle to myself, jump around, some smile and say hello, most will give you the stink eye and uncomfortably stare at you. I’ve done this so long now that I really don’t care.

But that’s the thing. Let people whisper, let people talk about you and stare, and take it as a compliment. The people who do that find you uncomfortable because you are doing something that they can’t comprehend or don’t have the confidence to do themselves. So may it be taking yourself out to dinner and eating alone, to making that business, to wearing a blue wedding gown, do it and let them talk ! It’s because they don’t have the bravery to be unique in a world where most people never step off the laid out path they have decided to follow.

And I promise that after a while you won’t even notice people talking and staring, but it truly is the best compliment.
